WOODY’S 16th ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF, Friday, February 6th at 5:30pm. This has been a Carlsberg tradition since 2010. Our Chairs this year are Betsy Anderson, (winner of the crown last year) and Dick Hoffman. Tickets are $10. Wendy Bollinger will be here to award the coveted trophy to the winner. Wendy is the wife of Woody Bollinger who passed away during COVID. Woody was the winner for nine years in a row. Upon Woody’s passing we named the Chili cookoff in his honor. We are very happy that Wendy could be here. Get your ticket and come on down and enjoy some chili, hot dogs and dessert and cast your vote for best one!
ANNUAL COMMUNITY GARAGE/YARD SALE

COMMUNITY SALE, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21st, 8am to 1pm. This is our annual fund raiser for the community. Items are donated by residents to be sold at the clubhouse.
All proceeds received from your donations will go to the RAC committee to support our activities. Please be generous when donating; it would be very nice if each household could donate at least 2 household items to support this effort. Donated items should be brought to the Clubhouse on Friday, 2/20. This includes all Baked/Food items. If you need assistance bringing your items to the clubhouse please let a committee member know.
Owners may have their own sale at their respective homes if they wish; please sign up on the auxiliary bulletin board in the clubhouse. If you plan on making homemade edible goods, please sign up on the bulletin board so the committee is aware.
If you can help, please sign up – we need help in Traffic control, Clubhouse and Hot Dogs.
Yes, we grill hot dogs on the deck and sell them along with chips and beverages; this is open to the whole community as well as visiting “shoppers”.
Please be aware that while the sale is ongoing, the traffic in Carlsberg will be one way only and parking will be permitted only on the even number side of the street; so please factor that into your plans to enter or exit during the sale hours. Driveways could also be blocked by “shoppers”. Homeowners having their own sale may bring their unsold items down to the clubhouse after 1pm on Saturday.
ALL ITEMS MUST BE BOXED AND CLOSED; BOX MUST BE ABLE TO BE CLOSED. Do not block any walkways or doors, please! All unsold items will be donated to the Lake Wales Care Center
