The City of Lake Wales started their Recycling plan (effective October, 2018).

Recycling pickup in Carlsberg is every Friday. 

Place items to be recycled in your blue recycle bins and place bin on the curb in front of your house no earlier than Thursday evening.

Brown bins are for garbage.

Items that will not be collected at the curb can be taken to the Polk County Waste Resource Management Division. 

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

The observed holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial  Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas  Day. Pickup will be pushed back by one day following a holiday. For example, if a holiday is on Friday and

your normal service day is Friday, you will be serviced  on Saturday instead.
