ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARTY

We are asking everyone to bring either an appetizer or dessert to share. We will be entertained by professional magician and comedian, Mr. Gary Roberts Costumes are encouraged, but optional
There will be prizes for: Most Original or Judges Choice Funniest or Cleverest Best homemade or favorite T-Shirt costume Best couple Best TV or movie character (group or individual) There will also be an award for the best Halloween themed appetizer and dessert. We will have a form on the Clubhouse bulletin board to sign up when you purchase your tickets to designate the dish you prefer to make and share -- appetizer or dessert.
This is a professional show and at only $5 per person, there will be limited seating so purchase your tickets early from our ticket sellers. Feeling lucky?? There will also be a door prize and bring an extra $5 for a 50/50 raffle drawing. Maggie Carver, Chair

HELPING HANDS

 2nd & 4th Monday - 1:00 PM

We are still working on the mats for the homeless. Come join us! Contact Phyliss Morrison 941-467-4549 for more information. We have 2 projects to bless local nursing home residents this Christmas. Creating picture books from magazines, old post cards/greeting cards, calendars, travel photos, etc. If you have any of these items laying around, sharing them would be greatly appreciated.

CARLSBERG MIXED LEAGUE

Wednesdays, 7:28 am

Open to all skill levels, men and women, this league plays every Wednesday morning at River Greens Golf Course in Avon Park. League begins October 15 with the first tee time at 7:28 AM. Carpooling is common. Costs include green fees and an optional $5 for closest to the pin and low net scores—pay only if you play. After golf, participants often gather in the clubhouse for drinks, lunch, and prize distribution. LADIES GOLF LEAGUE

Mondays, 9:00 am

Ladies play Monday mornings at Lake Bess Golf Course at 9:00 and then head to lunch or just brunch f the weather is bad. Play starts October 6th. Contact Ann Hoffman @ 863-450-9882. 

CRIBBAGE

Mondays, 6:00 pm

CARLSBERG COUPLES LEAGUE

Alternate Saturday's, 8:30 am

Another fun league playing with your spouse or significant other (or someone else’s) with some regular golf rules and sometimes special events. We play 9 holes on alternate Saturdays at Lake Bess. Cost is green fees plus $.50 for closest to the pin. Then we go to Hurricane’s or Beef O’Brady’s for lunch. League starts on Oct. 11. First tee time is 9:00. Contact: Dick Hoffman for details at
