Hurricane season is June 1 through November 30 .

People are encouraged to check with Polk County Emergency Management by calling 863-298-7027 to pre-register for a special needs shelter or to check into any special requirements for pet-friendly shelters.


Whether you stay or leave, bring in all outdoor items; statues, potted plants, chairs, tables, wind chimes,etc ., - anything that can before a flying projectile that could do harm to homes or people.


Our clubhouse is not designed as a storm shelter and will be closed during storm events.
