Carlsberg Activities are separate from RAC events.


These events are sponsored by the community or an individual resident.

TASTY TUESDAY (Coffee, donuts and news) 

Every Tuesday, 9:00 AM, SPEAKER: Feb.20

Coffee and doughnuts, plus announcements are served every Tuesday

morning at 9:00 am for $1.00/person. Pay at the door.

BILLIARDS

Fridays,  2:00
You will hear the sound of breaking of balls in the clubhouse on Friday afternoons. This activity is open to anyone interested in playing pool. If you have any questions, call Dave Sack @ 863-679-1659.


ROMEO’S

April  4 & 18, 12:00 Noon

will be going to Jay-Bees on Route 60, April 4th

and to Beef O’Brady’s in Winter Haven on Thursday, April 18th.

MATS FOR THE HOMELESS

Monay, April 8 & 22, 1:00 pm

HELPING HANDS will meet on Monday afternoons at 1:00 on the 2nd & 4th Monday of the month. We’re currently working on mats for the homeless and other ideas you may have. Anyone who is interested in creating caring, comforting items for others and enjoys conversation and sharing time with other residents is welcome to attend. Questions, contact Phyllis Morrison 941-467-4549   P.S. Don’t forget to save your plastic bags for our project (bags from Walmart, Walgreens, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Publix & Winn-Dixie). Bags may be brought to the Clubhouse and put in the boxes in the bay window just outside the kitchen.

CLEO’S

Thursday April 11 & 25, 11:00 am

Going to Balmoral Bar & Grill Restaurant, 124 Kenny Blvd., Haines City on Thursday, April 11. We will meet at the Clubhouse at 11:00. Maggie Carver is our host for this event.  Bagels on April 16th @ 9 AM Tasty Tuesday will feature fresh baked bagels from Panera Bread. Choose your preferred bagel. Cream cheese & jelly. Juice, coffee, tea or cocoa. Tickets are only $3.00.


Line Dancing -  Resuming

April 2 & 30, 10:00 am

 Bob Sand has contacted our old line dancing teacher, John Moore. Coordinated efforts have paid off. For the month of April, the sessions will be on Tuesdays.


FLAMINGO FRIDAY,

Friday, April 26, 5:00 pm

Hosts for April are Lenzie and Suzette Waggoner. Meet in the clubhouse at 5pm. All residents “interested” in golf are welcome, as are significant others (who may or not be interested). No skill level is required!! Bring an appetizer to share and your preferred beverage. Just a good time!


FRIDAY GOLF

On most Fridays, several of the men get together and play at various courses in the area.

We usually have 3 to 8 players. Any resident and their guest(s) may join us.

WATER EXERCISES

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:00 AM
(Weather Permitting)

DRINKS ON TH DECK

Friday afternoons, 4:30 pm
Put your dinner on hold, bring your beverage of choice, and join your friends at 4:30 on Friday afternoon
for relaxed conversation and camaraderie on the deck. Bring an appetizer to share. Stay as long or as little as you like.

No food, no fuss—just catching up and winding down. 

 


FLAMINGO FRIDAY

Friday, Jan. 26, 5:00 pm

Maggie & Meredith will host Flamingo Friday this month in the club house. All residents “interested” in golf are welcome, as are significant others (who may or may not be interested). NO skill level is required!! Bring an appetizer to share and your preferred beverage. Just a good social time.


CARLSBERG BOOK CLUB

LOTTERY CLUB

First quarter dues need to be in to Ken by the

last week of January 2024. The new Lotto program

has been okay, some free tickets and

some small wins, which he uses to buy more tickets.

Hoping for a big win in 2024.
