C.L.E.O'S (Carlsberg Ladies Eating Out)

This month Frances Carmona has made arrangements for the ladies to go to the D’Oro Palazzo Italian Restaurant in Posner Place Shopping Center. We will meet at the Clubhouse at 11:30 am to caravan to the restaurant. All ladies are welcome. This is strictly social; just good fellowship and lots of girl talk. R.O.M.E.O.'S LUNCHEONS (Retired Old Men Eating Out)

GOLF - Ladies

CE ladies will begin golfing at Lake Bess on Monday, October 21st at 9:15 AM. This is for 9 holes, fun and sun only.
GOLF !! River Green
Wednesday, October 16th, 8:00 am
The River Greens Mixed League will tee off at 8 AM. The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board. It’s been a long hot summer, but now it’s time to embrace the cooler weather. What better place to do it than on the links! Dick Kempinger is managing the league again this year, so if you have any questions, give him a call after October 12th at 678-1783.
COUPLES GOLF LEAGUE
Alternate Saturday Mornings - Lake Bess
This will be the third year for the Carlsberg Couples Golf League which is held on alternate Saturday mornings at Lake Bess Golf Club. This is a 9 hole event and is for fun only. Sometime you will play with your spouse/significant other but we will usually draw cards for partners. Cost is $15 for green fees plus $0.50 for closest to the pin. We usually go to Hurricanes for lunch after golf so everyone can brag about the wonderful round they had. The first Saturday is October 12th, and there is a sign-up sheet in the Clubhouse. Put your dinner on hold, bring your beverage of
choice, and join your friends at 4:30 on Friday afternoon
for relaxed conversation and camaraderie on

Flamingo Friday hosts for October are Betty and Wes Sorrell. Meet in the Clubhouse at 5 PM. All residents “interested” in golf are welcome, as are significant others (who may or may not be interested). NO skill level is required! Bring an appetizer to share and your preferred beverage. Post a “For Sale” notice:
On the bulletin board (down the Clubhouse hall near the Exercise Room) there is a section on the bottom where residents can advertise items for sale. Ad must be on a 3x5” card/paper and dated. If item sells, or ad has been posted for 3 months or more, it will be removed from board.
